Здесь представлены как долгосрочные годовые программы (чтобы провести год в Калифорнии, работая в Cisco, ещё не получив даже бакалаврской степени), так и краткосрочные предложенияя (например, трёхмесячные стажировки в Google и Microsoft). Кроме того, мы включили в наш список и несколько необычных вакансий — например, летнюю стажировку в CERN. |

Η ομιλία διοργανώνεται από τον Αν. Καθηγητή του Τμήματος ΤΗΜΜΥ, Σπυρίδωνα Λάλη. Ομιλητές θα είναι: Ο κ. Ανδρέας Αλεξόπουλος διδακτορικός φοιτητής του Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλίας, ο κ. Λαζαρίδης Λάζαρος ο οποίος αποφοίτησε από το τμήμα Μηχανικών Η/Υ, Τηλεπικοινωνιών και δικτύων του Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλίας, ο κ. Αράμ Σαντογίδης ο οποίος αποφοίτησε από το τμήμα Μηχανικών Η/Υ, Τηλεπικοινωνιών και Δικτύων του Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλίας και ο κ. Αθανάσιος Τοπαλούδης ο οποίος είναι Μηχανικός Η/Υ, Τηλεπικοινωνιών και Δικτύων και αποφοίτησε από το Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλίας το 2012. |

| 31/10/2016 | Community White Paper (CWP) A Roadmap for HEP Software and Computing R&D for the 2020s |
Realizing the physics programs of the planned and/or upgraded HEP experiments over the next 10 years will require the HEP community to address a number of challenges in the area of software and computing. It is expected that the computing models will need to evolve and a significant “software upgrade” is required to prepare. In order to identify and prioritize the software research and development investments required, we are now beginning a community planning process. The aim is to produce a Community White Paper (CWP) which will describe the community strategy and a roadmap for software and computing R&D in HEP for the 2020s. This activity is organised under the umbrella of the HSF. The LHC experiments and HSF have been specifically charged by the WLCG project and we are reaching out to other HEP experiments around the world to participate. |

Dua mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia (UI) Kristi Ardiana (Fakultas Hukum) dan Made Sanadhi Sutandi (Fakultas Teknik) mendapatkan penghargaan bergengsi dari Kemenpora sebagai “Pemuda-Pemudi Indonesia Berprestasi Internasional” . Penghargaan ini diberikan langsung Menpora Imam Nahrawi pada perayaan Hari Sumpah Pemuda pada Jumat (28/10)lalu di Palangkaraya. Penghargaan ini merupakan penghargaan bergengsi karena hanya ada 5 orang anak muda seluruh Indonesia yang terpilih untuk mendapatkannya. |

CERN’s IdeaSquare is launching a new on-line journal called CERN IdeaSquare Journal of Experimental Innovation or CIJ. The new journal will provide an open platform and a data depository for socio-economic innovation research. “At CERN we experiment with new ideas all the time, and IdeaSquare is a key part of that drive towards innovation,” says Charlotte Warakaulle, Director for International Relations at CERN. “Here, we bring together people from the worlds of scientific instruments-building and societal action to find practical solutions to challenges on the ground, in humanitarian work and in many other areas. It is at an innovative process with innovative outcomes,“ she adds. |
