The purpose of the joint project between CERN openlab and Yandex is to carry out research and development in the field of Advanced Event Processing.

In the framework of the project, Yandex researchers will be working for a year on software technologies for indexing event data collections and filtering of events, in order to provide CERN researchers with tools to increase the quality and speed of event analysis. The initial focus of these activities will be the data of the LHCb experiment.
