أعلنت شركة سيجيت الرائدة عالمياً في مجال التخزين دخولها في شراكة مع CERN Openlab لمدة ثلاثة أعوام للتعاون على تطوير منصة سيجت الحركية للتخزين المفتوح. 
وهذه الشراكة تهدف إلى مساعدة CERN المنظمة الأوروبية للأبحاث النووية" لتحسين إدارة وتخزين 100 بيتابايت من بيانات مصادم الهيدرونات الكبير LHC الأحدث عالمياً، فضلاً عن 2-3 بيتابايت إضافية شهرياً في سعيها لتعزيز الإدراك البشري للكون.
