The European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI) is a global leader in the storage, sharing and analysis of large datasets, helping researchers realise the potential of ‘big data’ in the life sciences. EMBL-EBI provides freely available data and bioinformatics services to the community in ways that promote scientific progress, conducts advanced research in computational biology and trains researchers at all levels.
