Abstract: Grid architecture is well-known for dealing with distributed computation for many years. Recently other computational models have started to emerge. For example, Hadoop that is based on map-reduce paradigm. The goal of this project would be specification of test cases and development of staging environment that is capable of dealing with those cases in order to provide comparison result between old and new models. Ultimately it would be helpful to identify weak points of both approaches as well as to figure out points of growth for both worlds.
