On Thursday 22 May 2014, Bob Jones, Head of CERN openlab, will give a lecture on the 'Impact of Computing at CERN on Society' in the framework of CERN's 60th anniversary celebrations. This public lecture will take place at CERN's Globe for Science and Innovation and will explore some of the new IT challenges, how they have been tackled and what impact they are having beyond physics and ultimately on society as a whole.
