For the first year, the CERN openlab summer students were invited to give "Lightning Talks". In six minutes and four slides maximum, they introduced the audience to their project, explained the technical challenges they faced, and analysed the results of their work.
A panel composed of CERN IT department management and the audience voted for their three prefered talks. According to the combined results, the three best presentations were given by:
Rocio Rama, Juan Jose Fumero Alfonso, and Gary Andrew Mcgilvary receiving their prizes
from Alberto di Meglio, CERN openlab summer student coordinator
Congratulations to all particpants for their well-prepared presentations!
